David M. Krum practices primarily in the areas of personal injury, criminal defense, and worker's compensation. Mr. Krum represents individuals with serious criminal or traffic cases facing serious jail time. Mr. Krum's clients also include those that have suffered personal injury, either as a result of an accident or as a result of medical malpractice. Mr. Krum has played an integral role in obtaining six-figure settlements for his clients in several auto accident cases. Mr. Krum also handles worker's compensation for those individuals injured while working.

In 2010 David Krum achieved the highest policy settlement allowed in two tragic auto accidents. In one case in Charles County Maryland, two people died in a tragic car accident. In another case, Mr. Krum obtianed the maximum policy settlement allowed in a tragic accident where three family members perished when a van crashed with six occupants inside.
In 2010, after a grueling four-day jury trial, Mr. Krum as co-counsel helped convince a jury to return a NOT GUILTY verdict on serious sex offense charges. In 2011, Mr. Krum was co-counsel in a jury trial where, if convicted, his client would have been subject to the sex offender registry. The jury agreed with Mr. Krum and his co-counsel, Andrew Jezic, and returned a NOT GUILTY verdict clearing their client of all charges. In 2011, Mr. Krum was able to persuade a judge to give his client with over eight prior DWIs only five weekends in jail.
Mr. Krum is licensed to practice in Maryland and is an active member of the Maryland Criminal Defense Attorneys Association, Montgomery County Bar Association, the Maryland Association for Justice and the Maryland State Bar Association. Mr. Krum was recently nominated and elected to the Board of the Maryland Hispanic Bar Association.
Mr. Krum received his J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law. He earned a B.S. in Physics and a B.A. in Spanish from Wofford College located in Spartanburg, South Carolina. While attending Wofford College, Mr. Krum was a Division I athlete, playing soccer and running track for the Wofford College Terriers. Mr. Krum is a fluent Spanish speaker and is in court almost every day. Mr. Krum is from Rockville, Maryland and attended Rockville High School.
